Yes a good old fashion personal or business check works just nice. Make your checks payable to: Vedic Community Foundation. Please be sure to indicate on the check or separate attached letter what project or fund the contribution is for. Mail checks to the following address:

3. Transfer of Appreciated Assets from your Brokerage firm
This type of contribution would include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, EFTs, closed-end funds, REITs, and other exchange traded investment products. This method of donating is often preferred by investors due to the favorable tax treatment of appreciated assets. In most cases the donor can claim the appreciated value of the asset as a full tax deduction (if held over 12 months.) This eliminates any capital gains the donor would have been subject to were they to sell the asset outright. To transfer such assets typically the Brokerage firm holding the assets will require you to fill out a "Partial Distribution Form" To do this you will need the following information:
Receiving Firm Name: TD Amertrade
DTC Number: 0188
Receiving Account Title: Vedic Community Foundation, Inc.
Receiving Account Number: 866257200
Asset Description, CUSIP or Stock symbol
Number of Shares
Once received by the VCF we will provide you with a letter of acknowledgement establishing the value of the donation for tax purposes based of the market price at the close of that days market trading session.

4. Credit Card and or PayPal
VFC uses PayPal for the processing of credit card transactions. This method of donation is used for immediate contributions to the Foundation and or Projects supported by the Foundation and its members. To use this method simply click of the Donate below or on the donate button located on each project page within the VCF website. Once your transaction is completed you will receive an email confirmation of your donation through PayPal.
*Please note if you are giving an outright donation to a project through the VCF we must establish a service agreement with that project before we can release your contribution. This to insure that the recipient of your donation has been reviewed by VCF and is a creditable not for profit project which serves to promote or provide education relevant to Vedic Culture.
